Maintenance Services

UTS Rail has provided maintenance support services to rail clients for more than 8 years. We currently have maintainers providing full signalling maintenance services to ARTC.

Our business is managed by a team of eight rail industry professionals who have a total of 160 years of rail maintenance management experience.

This level of maintenance experience (in NSW and SA) provides UTS Rail with a unique ability to support our maintenance teams and also support to our clients maintenance personnel.

The support offered includes:

  • 1st (technician) & 2nd level (engineering) signalling fault maintenance response
  • Incident investigation
  • Infrastructure failure investigation
  • After hours assistance
  • Signalling system data analysis (microlok, microtrak, phoenix, etc)
  • Train Order systems (trackside and TMACS)
  • Rail communications maintenance and repairs
  • Additional staff available to respond to major incidents
  • Failure trend monitoring
  • Cerberus level crossing monitor install and maintenance
  • Cerberus control centre maintenance
  • Cerberus unit bench testing and repairs
  • Our staff are provided fully accredited and certified competent with training provided in new systems and refresher courses as necessary.

UTS Rail has the experience to not only deliver maintenance services but to apply continuous improvement practices, such as Tailored Technical Maintenance, Fit for Purpose Maintenance, Failure monitoring and reduction strategies.
